Dr. Rendy Ananta Prasetya is a legal professional with extensive and in-depth experience spanning over 15 years across various fields, particularly in energy, natural resources, and corporate law at both national and international levels. As the Managing Partner of a reputable law firm, he brings a strategic perspective enriched through a diverse career in the upstream oil and gas sector, leading law firms, international organizations, and integrated energy service companies.
His solid formal education—holding degrees from the University of Indonesia, Suryadharma University, and a Doctorate from the Indonesian Defense University—forms the foundation of his expertise in navigating legal and business complexities.
His international achievements include establishing the legal framework for the inter-governmental organization, the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), through Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 56 of 2016, as well as securing diplomatic immunities and handling sensitive transactions and strategic agreements with various global partners such as METI Japan, UNDP, JICA, DFAT, OECD, World Bank, ASEAN Secretariat, and the Shanghai Institute for International Affairs (SIIA). Throughout his career, he has also collaborated with numerous world-renowned entities such as BP / Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ, as well as multinational corporations in oil and gas, FMCG, and various other sectors.
